Memories

He thought of writing a short review of these past twenty one years, but a picture is worth a thousand words.

This is a small selection of my memories, from pieces of Instituto Nacional, passed through a chocolate wrapping, until tennis balls.

  •           Jason, I’m sleeping – she told him, whit her sweet face.
  •          Do you want that I tell you a story? – He smiled, later she too – OK!, but first, You must to brush your teeth and  wearing pajama.

She went to bed and waited for him to start the story. He tucked her and started:
“Once upon a time, a little girl was the most beautiful, everybody loved her; the men turned for to see her for a moment until that they hit yours forehead with a post, they never felt pain because the reward of seeing her is very valuable. Men and women admired her”

The Magic Tree

-          Why are you so with me? – She was scared; he hasn’t spoken her in three month.
-          You know, but you don’t want to admit that it doesn’t mind now, because no turning back.

For a moment, nobody said anything. The atmosphere was dense, people walk in front of them; they only saw. Until that…

-          Can I ask you something? – He said – may sound strange but, did you eat your fruit today?

She was strange that he ask this question, it makes no sense. Then, she replied.

-          Mmm… I don’t kwon why do you ask me this?, I eat it, but I have one still.
-          Please, can you give me?

She looks into your bag. She finds and passes it. It was a peach. He picks it. For a moment, he looks it until that he bites it. She can’t understand why is he calm? Why is he only eats? Inside this situation drove her crazy but she didn’t dare to say something.

Only was the seed. He gives it and He told her.

-          This seed is the answer to all your questions. Now, you fail to understand the significance of this, how I feel. But, I know that you’ll understand one day.

He stands up, that was the last time that she saw his.

She was saddened. She couldn’t do anything, just plant this seed that he gives her. Time passed and the tree grew quickly, bore fruit in two years. Each day, she came and pulled a peach, even out of season. This fruit was very special, it was juicy with a wonderful color, but the most notably was his taste. It didn’t taste of peach, but It was delicious.

One day, a plague struck the tree, it began to infect the roots and the tree was weakened. She just watched and was sad inside, but she didn’t do anything. The tree looked dead, in this moment she reacted and she cared and nursed him day after day. Time passed and the tree lives again vigorously.

Sitting at the feet of her favorite tree, she was thinking about what happened. Until she could understand the feeling of one who gave the seed, each word and event, what he wanted. She was broken, she realized that she could have done something years ago. She just cried and cried.
